This app is specifically crafted for individuals dealing with aphasia and those having moderate to severe, or severe receptive language impairments resulting from strokes or brain injuries. It is also beneficial for older children with special needs, such as autism.

WHAT SPEECH THERAPY ACTIVITIES ARE INCLUDED IN COMPREHENSION TOOLBOX?

• Training: This activity aims to assist individuals with aphasia and severe challenges in understanding spoken and written words. Users are presented with two example pictures of a target word and asked to match the word to the correct picture from a set of three options.
• Photo Shuffle: In this activity, users match spoken or written words to corresponding pictures within a set of 2-6 pictures, providing extra time for comprehension and aiding in the selection process.
• Word Match: Users are shown a large picture and three spoken or written words, challenged to match the picture with the correct word.

Comprehension Toolbox offers three difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard) that can be tailored in the settings of each activity. Users can also regulate the field size (2, 3, 4, or 6 pictures) in the Photo Shuffle activity.

• Medium Level: Mix of items from the same category and different categories
• Hard Level: All items are from the same subcategory
